8 Week Program

8 weeks is a good amount of time to get your body ready for a river trip. In this 8 week  program you will work on balance movements, mobility exercises, as well as build functional strength needed for a river trip. You will gain improved balance for hikes and moving around the boats, as well as build strength for lifting and carrying your river gear. The program is broken up into two phases that progress leading up to your trip. You will receive a program you can do from the comfort of your own home as well as a program you can use in a gym, along with a 10 week cardio program.

12 Week

With a 12-week program you can really get prepared for the physical challenges of a river trip. You will receive a program you can do from the comfort of your own home as well as a program you can use in a gym, along with a 10 week cardio program.  This is a periodized program that is broken up into two 6-week waves. You will use bodyweight and resistance training to improve your balance, mobility, and functional strength. These things are great for loading and unloading the boats, side hikes on the trip, lifting of bags and gear, and many other challenges on the trip. This program is also repeatable, so if you have longer than 12 weeks before your river trip you can run through the 2 waves as many times as you would like.
